Noise/Pets/Safety

NOISE -- While infrequent, there could be noise from tractor, lawn mower, vehicles, tools in use.

PETS -- We have a yellow lab dog that is friendly and will normally stay to himself. He is usually content and not noisy.

WEAPONS -- Our family does enjoy hunting and target shooting in the bountiful wilderness of NE Iowa. Our weapons are securely locked up

STAIRS - - Guests will need to climb one flight of stairs to enter the loft.

The loft is equipped with smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detector, and fire extinguisher.

Getting to us

Glenwood Loft is a newly renovated barn loft located halfway between Waukon and Decorah, IA, on a gravel road approx one mile off a paved road. The barn is on our home property.

Upon arrival, parking will be in a lighted parking area near the barn. Entrance to the barn will be through a separate entry door that has a secure code. (The walkway to the door is small rock and could be soft depending on weather). After walking up a flight of stairs to the upper level of the barn, you will enter the loft area.

CANCELATION POLICY

Changes or cancelations should be done by phone or text to 563-382-6499 or by sending us an e-mail at adamjan1969@gmail.com.

A cancellation is not considered valid unless it has been received and acknowledged by us with a return e-mail and/or a return phone call to confirm.

Guests can cancel until 5 days before check-in for a full refund. If they cancel after that, the refund will be for 50% of all unspent nights.

No call No shows will not receive a credit of any kind.

Glenwood Loft reserves the right to expel guests who are disruptive or destructive, without refund of loft rent.

Guests who secure a reservation accept the terms of the policies.

Guests agree to use the property solely for residential vacation purposes and not for commercial events, parties, or illegal activities. The responsible party must be 18 years old and is responsible for all guests and actions on the property.

Damages - Any damages or breakages must be reported immediately. The guest may be held financially responsible for repairs or replacements.

Additional fees may be imposed for lost house items, damage to the property, or excessive cleaning required.
